Arab stories to accompany a coffee

I invite you to be part of this story....

Daruich Awada, a wise man full of life, had arrived in Jordan from Damascus, Syria. With a history full of experiences, anecdotes and fascinating stories.

He was known for his dedication and love for his family, especially his 11 grandchildren to whom he told stories of his distant lands.

Every time they met, Daruich would talk to them about his childhood in Syria, the traditions and customs of his people, the wars and famines he had experienced, but also the beauty and cultural richness of his homeland.

Daruich's grandchildren listened to him with their eyes wide open in wonder, absorbing every word, every story, as if they were a precious treasure. Grandfather Daruich, seeing the light in his grandchildren's eyes, felt alive knowing that his legacy and his memories would be safe with them.

Over time, the gatherings became a sacred tradition for the family. The grandchildren grew up, but they never forgot the stories that were told about their grandfather in a corner of the house that was his sanctuary of remembrance.

And when the grandchildren had children they told them the same stories, keeping alive the spirit of Daruich and his connection to his roots.

The tradition was told from generation to generation and the stories remain to this day.
